Just a few [of the] references [from different websites] I’ve compiled for making more unique face/body shapes in my characters.

Of course, creative liberty is (and can be) taken on most of these shapes, but anyone who wishes to design a character should at least know that there are many shapes and sizes for characters to be and that can define them.

I encourage making each character, human or animal, unique and identifiable by their silhouettes and profiles when they’re bald and unclothed.

Click the image to go to the fullsize! Easier to read.
A big ol’ tip on drawing cities from street-level. The drawings are pretty crude, (I did them very fast,) but I think they get the point across :) I’m sure some streets like in the first example actually exist in the world, but why would you choose to draw something so boringly bland?
Hope it helps you out!

well, I tried. this is what happens when I try to explain things in English… I am playing on doing one more Hair tutorial, because many people asked about it.
I am not good enough for doing any anatomy tutorials, so..just this for now.
I forgot to say that the only thing I do to make a difference between guys eyes and girls eyes are eyelashes (well girl can have short too, or very long if she has make up) and guys’ eyebrows are mostly wider, but girls can have wide too, but that’s all kinda obvious isn’t it..?
I planned to draw more ‘just eyes’ floating around, but got tired..so..not many.
I suck in explaining, you are warned XD

How would you recommend painting things digitally with a more painterly look?

For Photoshop, I just use the program’s default wet media, calligraphy and dry media brushes, and Freakshow’s brushes!
